Hypnagogia is an installation on the boundary of art and science. The installation uses light and sound waves to stimulate certain brainwaves. These brainwaves are called theta waves and we experience them during sleep or the moment of falling asleep. Many artist like Dali, Edgar allen Poe and Beethoven credit this state of being for their creative ideas. It is a state of being where the conscious mind and the subconscious meet. This installation was visitable by 15 people at the same time. At this moment i’m working on a smaller version for more investigation on the effects of the installation
